The Growing Brain 7-B: How Different Types of Play Maximize Children’s Learning
About the Event
We are facilitating The Growing Brain Series that will take place over the course of a series of sessions on Zoom. Participants will receive 1.5 in-service hours each session they attend.
Social interactions are enhanced throughout our daily routine, as teachers strengthen and scaffold children’s engagement. In the second part of unit 7 of the Growing Brain series of trainings, participants will learn about the different types of play and the skills to help promote children’s learning.
By the end of this training, participants will:
1. Describe how different types of play maximizes children’s learning
2. Discover the core skills children develop through play and how to promote these skills
