The Growing Brain 7-A: How Play Develops and Why It Is Important
About the Event
We are facilitating The Growing Brain Series that will take place over the course of a series of sessions on Zoom. Participants will receive 1.5 in-service hours each session they attend.
Children engage in play every day as caregivers look for ways to support their development and learning. In the first part of unit 7 of the Growing Brain series of trainings, participants will review the importance of play and identify the different stages of play and how they develop.
By the end of this training, participants will:
1. Describe the development of play
2. Discover what exactly is play and why it is important
