The Wonders of Literacy for Infants and Toddlers
About the Event
Early literacy skills are essential to language and literacy development, which begins in the first three years of life and is closely linked to a child's earliest experiences with books and stories. The Wonders of Literacy will focus on how to introduce literacy to infants and toddlers in addition to exploring the excitement of reading and interacting with infants and toddlers to enhance their language development, social emotional skills and help foster an enjoyment of literature for years to come. In this training, we will discuss the importance of literacy and language development for infants and toddlers and the need for literacy to be implemented daily in classrooms and with families.
