In the Pre-K CLASS tool, instructors tend to need extra guidance in the area of Instructional Support. One Dimension in particular is Concept Development. In this training, we will explore how teachers can implement discussions and activities that encourage higher-order thinking skills and focus on creating opportunities for connections.
By the end of this training, participants will:
1. Define the importance of Concept Development in the preschool classroom
2. Describe the indicators of Concept Development within CLASS
