It’s September, which means most VPK classrooms in the state of Florida have or will conduct Assessment Period 1 (AP1). During this webinar, we will navigate the Bright Beginnings website and analyze AP1 reports. We will discuss the implications of Print Knowledge, Phonological Awareness, Math, and Vocabulary and Oral Language on ongoing lesson planning. Directors with a VPK program and VPK Teachers are welcomed and encouraged to join this webinar.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Describe different examples of formal and informal assessments
2. Discover the best ways to deliver the AP1 assessment
3. Analyze and Interpret Assessment Period 1 Data and make decisions regarding instruction
4. Express ways to support their students based on the AP1 results
