CLASSy Learner Infant & Toddler
About the Event
CLASSy Learners is an overview of the CLASS tool designed to help participants learn about effective teacher-child interactions and the ways these interactions help children learn. Your instructor will provide a summary of the CLASS tool and its domains and dimensions.
The primary focus of this training is to describe the importance of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®). We will review Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K Development and implications in the classroom, Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K CLASS® Domains and Dimensions and what they measure, the link between effective teacher-child interactions and children’s learning gains, and the use of CLASS® data with regard to professional development.
This is session 1 of a 2-session series. You must register for session 2, which takes place on 6/15/24 from 12:00-3:00pm. You must register for CLASSy Learners Pre-k in order to receive full credit of 6 hours and be eligible for the stipend.
This is online training which will be facilitated via Zoom.
This is a two-step registration process. Register in the ELC system and Zoom.
DO NOT SHARE THE LINK WITH FRIENDS OR OTHERS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A REGISTRATION IN THE ELC SYSTEM AND ZOOM, NO STIPEND.
