(New Educator Series) Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) Part 4: Transitions and Classroom Management in Pre-K

Do you ever find it difficult to guide your students from one activity to the next? Are there times where your classroom feels disorganized? In this training we will explore strategies to support smoother transitions and help learn to maximize instructional learning.
By the end of this training, participants will:
1. Recognize methods to communicate clear expectations to students
2. List effective classroom transition strategies
3. Identify times in the day to be proactive in regards to classroom management
We will be on Zoom for this training and a second registration is required.
*This training is only for new educators who have been employed at their early childhood centers for approximately a year or less. Your registration will not be approved if you are a seasoned professional.

Attendance Policy: Participants missing more than 15 minutes of total training time will NOT receive a certificate of participation. Please be prepared to arrive on time and stay until the end of the training. Participants who leave the training early will not receive credit for the training.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required. Participants who arrive 15 minutes late to this training will not be admitted. Participants MUST complete both the post test and training evaluation to receive a certificate of participation.
