Identifying the difference between Autism Spectrum Disorder and Global Developmental Delay

This training provides an overview of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and global developmental disorder (GDD), discusses the difference between the two, and the role of community providers for observing red flags in children.
By the end of this training, participants will:
1. Discover the definition of autism spectrum disorder and global developmental delay.
2. Recognize the early signs of autism spectrum disorder and global developmental delay in children.
3. Discuss the role of community providers for observing red flags in children.
Trainers: Dr. Sohani Char & Lisa Carter, Developmental Assessment Clinic, Nova Southeastern University
This training will take place on Zoom and will require a second registration. You will receive an email with the link to complete the second registration in Zoom.
