Beyond Curiosity: How Infants and Toddlers Learn

How do infants and toddlers learn? How do they go about dealing with the different environments, interactions, and discoveries they encounter daily? In this training, the essential components necessary in learning for infants and toddlers will be discussed. Participants will learn how to support infants and toddlers' ability to build knowledge and develop skills, how to promote eagerness and curiosity in learning, and how to reflect on teaching practices to foster development in the early childhood environment. Additionally, participants will learn how to help infants and toddlers develop important executive functioning and self-regulation skills, which are critical to learning and healthy development.
