Program Overview
Asset Building Leads to Excellence (ABLE) is designed to increase positive decision making in middle school students in an effort to reduce risk factors associated with substance abuse, teen pregnancy, delinquency, and school failure. Youth are provided with tutoring and homework assistance after school and on non-school days, employability skills training, physical fitness, life skills, and cultural and leadership activities. ABLE is currently offered at William Dandy Middle School.

Program Highlights
ABLE YOUTH FORCE CAREER EXPLORATION DAY ABLE students toured the local Fire-Rescue Department as a part of their career exploration kickoff in December. The students engaged in a question and answer session that inspired many of them to consider fire fighting as a future career. |

Program Overview
Atlantic Coast Center of Excellence (COE) is a patron of the National Achievers Society (NAS) and is designed to enhance the number of students that are prepared, qualified, and motivated to enter institutions of higher education. Program activities include college prep workshops, conferences, regional and state academic competitions, and cultural events. Monthly board meetings are held for both parents and students.

34th Annual Black History and Cultural Brain Bowl During the Urban League of Broward County's 34th Annual Black History and Cultural Brain Bowl the National Achievers team, Resilience won first place in the local competition and placed second in the Region. The top two teams received new laptops courtesy of Coca-Cola Beverages Florida. |
